Cash Cab is a game show on the Discovery Channel. It’s a game show right in a cab in New York CIty. People get in, and while they ride to their destination, the driver asks them general knowledge questions. For each question they get right, they win money. As they go, the questions get harder and the money value for each question rises. If they get an answer wrong, they get a strike; three strikes and you’re out. If you are having problems with a question, you can have a shout out where you can call someone on your cell and get help, or you can roll down the window of the cab and ask for help. If you reach your destination and haven’t struck out, you can choose to watch a video question to double your money or lose it all. It is a great show!! Some of those questions are really hard. I don’t know how people know some of the answers.
This morning, we were surfing the television for something to have on. We don’t always watch what’s on, but it’s too quiet here in the hospital not to have it on. So we were watching Cash Cab and then we heard it. I was so shocked – I really don’t know why – but I was. One of the questions was: “Name one of the four Gospels of the New Testament.” I said, “OOOOOOOO, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John!” They didn’t know it. They did a shout out. They asked this guy who said, “ummmm, John. That’s right, John.” And he walked away. They didn’t know whether to trust him or not. They did, and they won the money, but wow.
I am not naive. I know that there are many people around the world who do not know God or Jesus Christ and who do not know about His Word, but it was just so saddening to actually see it; ya know? All we could do was just look at each other in dismay…wow. So sad…

I agree. It is sad that people out there do not know Jesus or anything to do with the Bible. All we can do is PRAY. lOTS OF LOVE, MAMA

that is sad, but before a became a believer i didn’t know any books of the Bilbes. except, genesis ad revelation and the only reason i knew those was because i have seen that movie that came out in the 80s with demi moore in it. what was that movie called? she was having the last baby and a boy with downes killed his parents and the sea was frying fish and the water was blood. what was that? its gonna bug me till someone tells me.
